It's Freezing

It's cold! I am freezing right now inside our house. I think it's getting cold. It is 60 degrees F inside. The humidity is too slow for me that is why i feel so cold. I hope it is always summer.

I just picked this movie at the rental DVD store without reading it at the back of the cover of the movie because it was casted by Angelina Jolie (my favorite actress). When the movie started, i have no idea what's the story all about. After i watched the movie, i did not know how i really feel. It is a love story, war, death, and lots of misery, but the movie is more intense.
Sarah Jordan (Angelina Jolie) is an American living in London in 1984 who has just married an Englishman, Henry Bauford (Linus Roache). They are attending a charity party when Nick Callahan (Clive Owen) disrupts the event. Nick is a doctor in a relief camp in Ethiopia, whose funding has been canceled. Nick brings one of the orphans to the party to show what the money is for. Sarah is so touched, she clears out her bank account to take food to Ethiopia.

So Sarah went to Ethiopia, the scenes are so realistic and horrible that you may not like to see the scenes. But i kept watching it. I did not know what to say. You can see through the scenes how people starved to death, fighting for food, not enough water and how the people look like. People are so desperate.
The Lesson:
It is only a movie but it happened in real life. It is like some people in Africa that also needs help. My heart is so touched. Here in USA, my husband and i are not rich but i think we got all our basic needs from food to clothing. We are so lucky that we got all we need except for fancy stuff. I know people are worrying about our economy crisis but still we are so lucky that we are not starving to death. Am i right? Some people always complaining about many things. They are not contented of what they got even if they have plenty of their needs. Well, i could blame you that because i am like that sometimes but i keep trying myself that i must be contented and be happy what i have right now because you will not be happy if you are not contented.

Animal Planet

I think most animal lovers knew about animal planet shows on TV. Their shows are very educational about animals. They got a lot of shows about animals. Like how animals grow up, how to take care of them, animal health, behaviour, and many more. Most are very educational and entertaining for animal lovers. They have also a show called pet star. A competition for pets which can do tricks.
They have also this show named untamed and uncut. Have you heard this show? You could not believe what's happening their shows. They got a lot of videos about wild animals or big animals that accidentally attacked to some people. If you are interested of this show. Just try to watch.

Gerbils' fun time

I am not really a pet lover. I just took a video because i was having fun to see these gerbils playing. They just love to play in this little wheel. They just love to climb,jump,chew and dig. Gerbils are also known as desert rats. They love to eat sunflower seeds,pumpkin seeds and peanuts. They also like salt.
What i like about gerbil are they don't have bad smell at all.

This is my favorite fish in our little aquarium. It is really cute.
There are more fishes. I just took my favorite one. They are just tiny fishes.

Easily cold, Easily hot!

It's kinda irritated that my body is easily hot and easily cold. Anyone can tell me? Based on my own opinion, it's because i am slim or skinny and my body easily responses the temperature. I feel so cold today. Here i am, wrap in my blanket while writing this post. It's about 62 degrees F inside our house. For some people is not cold for them. Sometimes i was not cold when it's 60 degrees or so. Maybe the humidity today is low because it differs how much the humidity is.

Try to eat vegetables and fruits everyday. I promise you will loose weight.

Yesterday, i went to a big yard sale at Siren Wisconsin. It was early in the morning,a lot of people already there. I could not believe that a lot of people went there. There was a lot of stuff. It was my first time in going a yard sale since i arrived here US. I am so amazed the price was. I got shoes for only .50$ each pair and i got two. They are leather shoes and perfectly fit for me. Izzy Cat

Here is our other pet in our house. She is a female cat. She will be turning one year old this September 27,2008. She stays outside because i don't like if she is at the kitchen and sometimes makes a mess. She is doing pretty good outside. One time, we lost her and could not find for one day. We thought that a wild animal killed her. We tried to call her many times and we just heard a little voice. We could not figure out where that voice was. Finally we found her above the tree. She did not know how to get down from the tree. So my husband saved her. He tried to get a ladder to get our poor cat.

Gerbils

Here is some pictures of the gerbils. My stepdaughter loves them so much. It is so much fun for her. I love them too because they don't make a bad odor at our house. It does not matter to me as long as they don't make a bad odor. One is female and the other one is male.They are young, not sure if they will have baby soon.
Gerbils are different from other types of rats. Gerbils are more fun and they are not disgusting. Gerbils love to play. I have a video on how they play. I will post it soon. Only i can have for now are pictures because it will take a long time to upload in youtube.

A lesson From Eating Too Much

I broiled a whole chicken for supper. I love it so much because it seems my appetite is really good right this time. I am gaining some weight but not a lot. It's really good for me though because the doctor said that i must gain more because i was overweight before but i think i am normal this time.Anyway, i ate a lot for my supper. Could not Take Writtten Test/complete requirements for taking written test for temporary permit driver license

Hey guys,how's your day? I think my day did permit to take the written test to get my temporary permit because i did not have complete requirements. It is stressful day for me because it's kinda long drive for like 45 minutes to go to DMV Rice lake,WI. Of course i have my Social Security Number and Work Authorization Card but then they did not permit me to take the written test because they need proof of residency in Wisconsin like bank statement,bills statement that you have your name and address there. So,we decided to get online statement in my bank, we went to the library in Rice lake then printed the online statement then we went back to DMV Office but then they did not accept online statement. It was irritated.After that we just went home and decided to go back this coming Monday. If you are planning to take written test for your temporary permit,be sure you have the following requirements of what i mentioned above because they will not allow you to take the test if you do not have complete requirements.

Planning a Vacation?

I love to go for a vacation during summer because of very warm and nice weather and of course, my husband does not work during summer because he is teacher. We did not go for a vacation even in one state because we are planning to sell our house and we were too busy in doing some stuff to improve our house so that it will sell. Taking Written test

I woke up early this morning to take my written test in getting temporary driver license. It's been a long time that i planned to take the test but i did not do because of my morning sickness of my pregnancy. So today, i am going to take that test whether ready or not. I was just reading that handbook for that test. I hope i can pass so that i can start practice driving.

Pork with Vegetables Lumpia

Here are some pictures that i cook today.I really do not know what are the ingredients in making lumpia. I just made in my own.
Here are some ingredients that i used:
1 kilo ground pork
green beans
carrots
onions
garlic
pork 1(knorr cube )
soy sauce
2 eggs bitten with salt to taste
cooking oil
Here are the steps in cooking:
1.Saute garlic and onions in cooking oil.Then add the ground pork until it cooks thoroughly.

2.Add soy sauce to taste and 1 pork cube then stir.

3.Add vegetables until it is half cook.Then add beaten eggs then stir until the egg is cook enough.
4.Wrap in a lumpia wrapper.You can freeze some if you want cook or deep fry for some other time.

5.Deep fry in cooking oil.Serve hot!

Being Pregnant is not Easy

Since from the start of my pregnancy, i felt so many symptoms of pregnancy which is really uncomfortable and really severe feelings. The first trimester was so horrible. I had nausea, heartburn, vomiting,feel so tired, sensitive smelling, bad taste and produce a lot of saliva.The worst thing was i could not eat anything. I forced myself to eat something because of course our body need the food. Of course, i have my monthly check-up. The doctor prescribed the medicines of my heartburn, nausea and also for vomiting. I felt better when i took them but not completely. During my second trimester i felt a lot better. Now,i am in my third trimester but still i feel not normal because of stretching my belly. I felt so tired easily. I think this is the ways it is. I need to do my exercise which is 30 minutes a day because they said it's good for pregnancy. I just do walking because it's easier for me. Now, i am looking forward for the delivery of my baby. I hope everything will be fine which is 2 months from now.
Being a first time mom is also exciting but you have also face the worst thing which i mentioned above.

Chocolate Hills,Bohol,Philippines

Last year, my husband and i went to the one of the famous tourist spots in the Philippines.We went to the Chocolate Hills where you can find at the Island of Bohol.I was really excited to go there because i never been there before. Before going to the beautiful chocolate hills,we spent our night at Bohol Divers Resort which has also a nice hotel to rest or sleep for the night.I enjoyed so much in looking the beautiful sand at the seashore and color of the ocean which really different from natural color of the common blue ocean.What i seen was blue green color of the ocean. It's really pretty to look at.

Besides from chocolate hills, we went also to old churches,dating back early years of the Spanish colonialization of the island. This is called "The Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception" where you can find in Baclayon.Next to the church is the old convent, which also houses a small museum with centuries-old religious relics, artifacts and other antiquities, dating back to the 16th century.It's being said that when they build this church, they used egg yolk as a substitute for cement.You can hardly believe that how many eggs are being used.
